Tryout registration is now open for all Nova 94 and Elevate Elite teams for the 2026 Spring/Summer AAU Season.  All players must register, pay the tryout fee and attend tryouts in order to be considered for a  2026 Spring/Summer team–USE THE LINK BELOW TO REGISTER.  We recommend that players attend each tryout for their age group, however only one tryout is required.  We finish forming teams after tryouts have been completed.  We send out acceptances by email.  As we often have to complete three teams for an age group, and have to contend with the fact that many players may be trying out with multiple clubs, the process may take a few days after tryouts are over.  We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to complete the teams as quickly as possible.

Below are the age guidelines for Nova 94 teams for the 2025-2026 AAU Season which runs from September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026.  Please review carefully before you register your player to tryout for a particular team.  While Nova 94 will attempt to review all tryout registrations to confirm a player complies with the age requirements of a team that he/she is trying out for, it is ultimately your responsibility to sign the player up to tryout for the correct aged team.  

*****2025-26 AAU Boys Basketball Eligibility Requirements***************

BOYS 7 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 7 on August 31, 2026.

BOYS 8 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 8 on August 31, 2026

BOYS 9 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 9 on August 31, 2026.

BOYS 10 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2026.

BOYS 11 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2026.

BOYS 12 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2026.

BOYS 13 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2026.

BOYS 14 & UNDER/8th Grade DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2026. (older 8th graders may tryout in this age group as our top teams in this division often form as an 8th Grade team which allow for some age exceptions)

BOYS 15U/9TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2026. Grade Exception: An athlete who is in the 9th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 16 on August 31, 2026 is eligible to play in the 15U/9th Grade Division.

BOYS 16U/10TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 16 on August 31, 2026. Grade Exception: An athlete who is in the 10th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 17 on August 31, 2026 is eligible to play in the 16U/10th Grade Division.

BOYS 17U/11TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 17 on August 31, 2026. Grade Exception: An athlete who is in the 11th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 18 on August 31, 2026 is eligible to play in the 17U/11th Grade Division.

2ND GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 2nd grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 8 on or before August 31, 2026.

3RD GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 3nd grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2026.

4TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2026.

5TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2026.

6TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2026.

7TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2026.

8TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2026. For an athlete that is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2025 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026.

9TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2026.

10TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2026.

11TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2025 and can be no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2026.
